Once again this year you have reenacted the orgy you call Becerrades, in Algemesi, by which young bulls are brutally slaughtered for the amusement of sick minded people.
Your alleged criteria of "tradition" do not sustain themselves, as there is no cultural credit or benefit in estimulating murder and torture of innocent creatures. Or giving this sort of "education" to young people, who should be tought entirely different values of life.
Much on the contrary. Spain is today seen by the international community as a country of barbarians and people all over the world have already started boycotting the tourism to Spain, today considered as a cancer in Europe.
We should expect that any civilized country should promote true ART and CULTURE, which definitely is against the promotion of cruelty, torture and any sort of abuse against LIFE.
I, as a citizen of the world, feel entirely hurt and offended by the "festivals" your country insist to promote. Hard to choose which one of them is more hideous to hear of.
If these are spanish standards of "civilization" and "culture" people are being advised not to set their feet in your country, as it clearly is NOT a safe place to visit, which is demonstrated, beyond any doubt, by your actions and insistance to sustain this bloodshed among others.
You may choose not to hear the international claims. But then you will have only yourselves to blame for the consequences. In a moment when your economy is falling into pieces and maybe soon have to ask for international help, I will be the first to remind other countries that the little money you have has been used to create "awards" of 30 thousand euros for Torture and to subsidize institutionalized crime such as bullfighting and other infamous spanish "fiestas".
The world now SPITS on Spain, as the country deserves. Do NOT count on our help.
